There are some people in this world that are by nature
destined to conquer new frontiers; people who are willing to take risks. Barbara Blair is
just that person. She is a highly motivated, dynamic professional as well as the
co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CyberStaff America, LTD. Barbara along with Les
Kalmus the Chief Operating Officer, led CyberStaff to revenues of $16 million for the
fiscal year 2000. CyberStaff America, LTD is a leading technology
staffing, and training consulting company. It is a privately held, WBENC (Women Business
Enterprise National Council) certified Women owned Business and the second largest WBE
with sales to Merrill Lynch exceeding $52MM in 2001. Founded in 1995, it is the second
successful consulting organization developed by Barbara Blair. Barbara and CyberStaff have
built a reputation of providing qualified consulting support, as well as Professional
Services for Training and Development to Fortune 500 clients. Consequently, Barbara has
been able to form strong ties with these organizations. She prides herself on building an
organization that operates under strict policies of honesty and integrity when dealing
with both clients and consultants alike.
CyberStaff was recognized as number 37 during the year 2000, published
in Inc. 500. CyberStaff is also the #1 fastest growing. women-owned, IT Consultant company
in New York. CyberStaff also received finalist status of the prestigious "Ernst
& Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2000 and 2001 " award. Barbara won accolades and
honors as a regional finalist in the Working Woman/AT&T general excellence category
for the "Working Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards 2001." Barbara chairs
numerous Advisory Board Committees for women organizations and is a frequent speaker at
the Harvard Business School Club of Greater New York, It and Women in Business seminars
held throughout the country. On May 11th 2002, Barbara received the Ellis Island Medal of
Honor for distinguished service. The honor was awarded to those who share the commitment
to preserve values, heritage and diversity of out way of life. She was also one of 14
enterprising women in the country saluted at the National History Museum in Washington, DC
for outstanding achievement. In 2002, Barbara was chosen by the US Chamber of
Commerce as one of 12 CEO's to visit China and celebrate the first anniversary of the WTO
between China and the United States. During March of 2003, Barbara was invited to
speak at a symposium in Chengdu, China on Outsourcing and E-Learning.
Barbara is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Owner President
Management Program and adheres to the philosophy "in order to succeed, you must be
willing to take risks." Barbara's achievements throughout her career managed risk and
created opportunity within the Sales, Management, and IT business lines to exceed quotas
and revenue stream requirements. Throughout her tenure at various companies, Barbara
exceeded her goals and quota attaining membership in company President Clubs.
Barbara is the 2002 recipient of the Merrill Lynch scholarship for the 2002 Advanced
Minority Business Executive Program at Dartmouth.
Barbara sets her sights on something, reaches her target and says,
"OK, so what's next." She acknowledges the successes but more importantly,
becomes stronger based on the lessons learned. When starting CyberStaff, her intent was to
build on past experiences, to compete in a growing marketplace and to make a difference.
The idea was to be a pro-active force in influencing change. Barbara is the owner of a
successful business, a mentor for women entrepreneurs, and the mother of 3 successful
young women. Barbara claims that her world is like a roller coaster ride - "it is a
wonderful thrill." |

As President, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder
of CyberStaff America, Leslie P. Kalmus spends a significant part of his time managing
vendor relationships and operations to produce economic results. Les experience
spans over thirty-five years in business administration, finance and information
technology and consulting services. Les has taken CyberStaff and it's relationship with
Merrill Lynch to a Master Vendor status. For the past 2 years, CyberStaff has consistently
been the #1 vendor for IT services with Merrill Lynch Fenner and Company.
Formerly Vice President in the Client Technology Group of DowJones/Telerate, Les produced
requirements and specification documentation as well as developed prototypes for global,
firm-wide, customer entitlement control systems. This tied all Telerate products, network
delivery systems and billing and accounting systems together for the first time. While at
Telerate, Les also provided marketing direction to the Technical Development Group for
product development, directed writing of functional requirements and specifications for
those products scheduled for development or improvement.
Prior to this, Les was the Vice President and Manager of the Professional Investors
Trading Systems Department at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Les managed a budget of $6M and a
staff of 45. He directed the implementation of an Equity Risk Management System and
produced similar systems for Convertible Bond Trading, Government Trading and the Finance
Desk.
Les also had a distinguished career with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets. As a First Vice
President of the Equity Trading Support Department, Les along with his team implemented a
fully automatic online OTC system, which internalized order flow, for which he holds the
patent. Other businesses include Odd Lot trading, Government Securities Pricing, Global
Foreign Equity Trading, Corporate Bond Trading, Ticker Plant, Pricing Delivery and several
large security information and price data bases.
Les has a BA from City College of New York and attended NYU Graduate School of Business.

Diane Epstein , Senior Vice President, has extensive experience in working with clients in utilizing sophisticated, intellectual consulting solutions at the shop floor level up to the senior executive level. She has the ability to develop comprehensive marketing communications plans, utilizing all available vehicles.
As a senior executive with Work in America Institute, the nation's foremost human resource research and membership organization, Diane had the responsibility of working with Fortune 500 organizations educating the top leadership about the importance of sound human resource principles that address personnel development, employment security, life-long learning, training in basic skills and technology and employee involvement, compensation, quality of working life and team work.
Diane holds a BA from Mercy College and advanced degrees in elementary education and special education. |
